Led architectural transformation of a monolithic PHP/MySQL system (~500K users, ~200K active) into a distributed microservices ecosystem. Designed service decomposition, schema redesign, event-driven flows, and migration pipelines. Built observability systems using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and centralized logging.
