Transformed a monolithic PHP/MySQL system serving ~500K users (200K active) into a distributed microservices ecosystem using NestJS, Next.js, and PostgreSQL. Architected service decomposition, schema redesign, event flows, and caching strategies. Built comprehensive observability pipelines with Grafana dashboards, OpenTelemetry instrumentation, and alerting systems. Optimized performance through Redis caching, SQL query tuning, and connection pooling, significantly improving system reliability and response times.

Founding engineer for Wexa.ai, an AI-first enterprise automation platform. Designed and built the initial iteration of an Agentic AI system using HITL (Human-in-the-Loop) and HOTL (Human-over-the-Loop) models. Architected AI execution graphs integrating GPT-3/4/5, Gemini, custom toolsets, memory modules, embeddings, vector search (Typesense/Pinecone), and RAG pipelines. Established engineering standards and platform foundations that enabled autonomous business process automation, reducing manual operational effort by over 50%.
